"Harlequin ghost, putrid skin elected to become inside out.
In this hunting season, I'm killing you off."
"Light reflections shine in my eyes,
I've been falling asleep for quite some time."
"Tired of the meaningless answers I seek,
Alone I sleep under the family tree.
My existence fragile and weak,
Fuck reality for birthing me."
Creating cesspools of unfulfilled prophecies
Age of Faux Enlightenment.
You wanted us to fear for the god that was never ours,
Fucking ourselves in circles.

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
